What’s the difference between a River Suite and a Woodland Suite?
Both are stunning, the River Suite are larger at a 51Sq Metre Interior v’s a 37sq Metre Interior in The Woodland Suites. There is a stunning Travertine stone breakfast bar in the River Suites, this is not in The Woodland Suites, but we do have a table for you to use. (We have 9 Suites in total, 5 Woodland Suite and 4 River Suites)
Is the River Suite priced the same as The Woodland Suite?
Yes both nightly price for the River Suite and the Woodland Suite are both the same for 2025.
What’s included in our nightly package at The Woodland Suite Experience?
Your Stay at The Woodland Suite Experience Includes:
- Private personalised welcome, valet service if you are self-drive, followed by arrival to the Woodland Suite Experience by our electric golf buggy and taken directly to The Clubhouse.
- Glass of Champagne on arrival at The Clubhouse for your check-in.
- You are then roomed to your Woodland or River Suite.
- Curated VIP amenity tray and some Jameson whiskey in a decanter with our compliments.
- Sundowner Cocktails and canapés in The Clubhouse each evening from 5.30pm – 6.30pm.
- Exclusive Breakfast in The Clubhouse on the following morning.
- Dedicated/reserved car parking space for the duration of your stay.
How Far is the Woodland Suites from the Main Hotel?
It is a one/two-minute walk from the Woodland Suites to the main hotel.
How do I get from the WSE to the Hotel?
You can walk through our Victorian Sunken Gardens or call the reception team and request one of our Electric Golf Buggies to come and collect you.
Where do I check-in for The Woodland Suite Experience and what time is check-in?
Check-in time is anytime after 3pm and you check in at The Clubhouse within the Woodland Suite Experience.
Is the Woodland Suite Experience suitable child or pet friendly?
The Woodland Suite Experience is not suitable for children, and we do not allow pets within the resort.
Do I need to make a reservation for The Clubhouse?
No, you do not need to make a reservation for The Clubhouse, its part of your package and we will explain all when you arrive.
Is there a mini bar in the Suite?
Yes, there is an Honesty Mini Bar in our Suites, in both the River & Woodland Suites.

Do you have a spa?
Yes, the award-winning Bellevue Spa with 6 treatment rooms and a relaxation room located in the original house, home of the Merchant Prince of Cork. Do you have a health club?
Yes, the Motion Health Club is available for the residents of the hotel to use. Facilities include 20 metre swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and a fully equipped gym with cardio machines, weights and gym floor area. Pre-booking of a timeslot is essential, please contact motion@themontenottehotel.com to reserve your time. This can be done up to 7 days prior to your arrival. Do you have a pool?
Yes, we have a 20-metre indoor swimming pool, located in Motion Health Club.
Do you offer membership rates in the Motion Health Club?

Cameo Cinema
Do you have a cinema?
Yes, the Cameo Cinema is our luxury inhouse cinema. We show movies at 17.00 & 21:00 Monday to Friday and 17.00 & 20:00 Saturday and Sunday. Spaces are available on first come, first served basis. Movie listing is displayed at the hotel reception. Cameo cinema is complimentary for the residents of the hotel. The cinema is strictly for over 18’s.
Can non-residents visit the cinema?
Non-Residents can visit our Cameo Cinema Club with our Dinner & a Movie packages which runs Sunday – Thursday or our Champagne Lunch & Cinema Experience on Friday’s, subscribe to our Cameo Cinema Club Newsletter to be kept up to date with movie listings and more.
What are the best seating times to enjoy dinner and a movie?
To ensure you will not miss the start of the movie, we recommend the following times for dinner: Monday to Friday at 18:30, 18:45, 19:00 or 19:15 with the film starting at 9.00pm and Saturday and Sunday at 17:00, 17:45, 18:00 or 18:15 with the film starting at 20:00.
